sl records is ten years old! yep we've survived for ten years, and here's to the next ten....
our birthday celebrations will be in may - we're still finalising the details but we can confirm that edinburgh's preimier club, goulag will be hosting sl's birthday party on the 31st may at ego in edinburgh. expect the usual goulag madness with a twist...
in this our tenth year we welcome two new artists to the sl records family
we're delighted to tell you that we'll be releasing the new album from wowtown's troubadour mr thomas truax . you may have heard his latest single "have we been left behind" gracing the airwaves. new single and album will be out on sl records late april, accompanied by a full uk tour. more details soon, but for now you can catch Mr Truax (pronounced troo-aks) touring Ireland with Duke Special. details on the gigs

we're also very pleased to be releasing the debut single from lords of bastards . "off with their heads/king sized karma" is a delicious slice of surfpunkmetal from these bono baiters (have a listen here) . they're currently working on their new album - more details soon. they're playing at octopus diamond , edinburgh's newest venue, on 15th march.
as it's our birthday this year we'll be revamping the website, smartening it up a bit, adding some downloads, mending all them broken links and maybe even running a spell check - so keep your eye on the site.
